Terms of Service

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by Alessio Papa. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The Service

HookBeam is a webhook infrastructure platform that captures inbound webhook requests, stores their payloads and headers, forwards them to designated endpoints, retries failed deliveries, and allows users to inspect and replay events.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

• Using the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes.
• Sending spam, malware, or harmful content through the Service.
• Attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without authorisation.
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or its infrastructure.
• Scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing any technical limits of the Service.
• Infringing the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.

5. Intellectual property

Alessio Papa retains all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all software, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your selected plan.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. The Service may be unavailable from time to time for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

7. Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Payments for paid plans are processed by Paddle, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Our order process is conducted by Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, subscription renewal, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, available at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. Our refund policy is available at /refund-policy.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay fees when due, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our policies. You may close your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alessio Papa's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the total amount paid by you to Alessio Papa for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alessio Papa and its representatives from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Italy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
